Mukund P. Hukeri, IT Director

Mukund is a successful global IT Management & Leader.  Presently, he is the Director of IT for Leo A Daly, one of the top architecture, planning, engineering, interior design and program management firms and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. Mukund’s primary responsibilities include IT project and operations management, optimize IT infrastructure and Business Processes, align IT as a major catalyst to business, and maintain working relationships with Corporate Management, Business Groups and Profit Centers. Prior to Leo A Daly, Mukund managed Hercules Offshore's overseas IT infrastructure and Vinmar International’s global IT operations and support. His accomplishments range from Virtualization, Data Center Management, Enterprise Security, Disaster Recovery & BCP, IP Telephony, Active Directory, Blackberry services, Database Management, and SAP deployment. Mukund’s 20-year career has covered everything from conceptualization to management of IT solutions, services and teams in 28 countries.


Mike Schaffner, Director, IT Valves & Measurement
Cameron

Mike Schaffner is the Director of Information Technology for Cameron’s Valves & Measurement Group.   Mike joined Cameron in April, 2007.  Previously Mike worked for oilfield equipment suppliers Lone Star Steel and Dresser-Rand with leadership roles in engineering, accounting/finance, manufacturing operations and IT.

Mike has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton; a Master of Science in Engineering from Northwestern University; a Master of Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management; and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Mike serves as the President of the Houston Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM), the Vice President of Accounting for the Houston Strategic Forum and is on the Board of Directors of Shield Bearer Counseling Centers.  In addition Mike is a featured commentator on IT issues for Forbes.com and blogs regularly at Beyond Blinking Lights & Acronyms.

 

Stephen Havemann, former Director of Applications
El Paso Energy

Stephen Havemann, in his 11 years of IT management with over 20 total years in management, has led the strategic design, development and 24 x 7 support of trading applications and pipeline applications through all phases of SDLC for physical and financial transactions.  His on time and under budget applications have supported functionality including  options, swaps, futures, transportation, interest rates, trade capture, scheduling, calculating mark-to-market valuation and managing risk exposure for business lines including electric, gas and petroleum.  He has the unique ability to utilize 19 years of business background in scheduling, accounting and commercial deal origination to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, gather requirements and build consensus for a strategic vision to better profitability.  Under Stephen's visionary leadership, application virtualization was implemented with the use of RecoverPoint to achieve business continuity.  He extended the vision to desktop virtualization to improve efficiency while achieving cost savings.  He has led development and support of custom and third party high availability enterprise web applications using technologies including Microsoft .NET C#, C, Silverlight, SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, Powerbuilder, Java, Oracle, SharePoint, VMware, RecoverPoint, and Websphere.

Stephen's diverse leadership in IT has included database administration, network services and application development with his passion being agile application development.   He has led his teams to accomplish more then they believed possible through active coaching, mentoring and performance management.  He has taught his team to forge lasting relationships by aligning with business and customer goals.  Several of his team members have been mentored successfully progressing to leadership roles.  Stephen received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Before joining iland, Mark worked as a Senior Systems Consultant for one of North America’s largest virtualization and storage integrators. He has developed virtualization and disaster recovery solutions for many Fortune 500 companies including Exxon Mobil, Anadarko Petroleum, and BJ Services. Mark is a VMware Certified Professional and holds numerous Microsoft, IBM, and Citrix certifications.

 

 

Nina Buik, VP
4th Source, Inc.

A 21-year IT veteran, Nina is Vice President of Sales & Marketing for 4th Source, a US-based, international IT sourcing and staffing company providing premier business and technology solutions for industry leading companies and government agencies.   Prior to 4th Source, Nina served as VP for MindIQ, an IT training and consulting firm for 19 years.

Since 2008, Nina has also served as president of Connect, a 50,000 member IT community of HP business technology. Nina also served as president and vice president of Encompass since 2005. As an industry thought leader in the user community, Nina played an integral role in the organization’s marketing, communications, and advocacy efforts.

Nina’s role over the past year has been focused on global user community growth, new social media implementation and working with HP leadership to create a greater and expanded culture of awareness and support of the user community. In addition she writes a community blog for Connect. Nina has been quoted over 35 times in the past year in publications such as ComputerWorld, Network World, Search Data Center and TechTarget.
